Iron Maiden "Live" Performance April 29th, 1981 @ BEAT CLUB

Iron Maiden April 29th, 1981 @ BEAT CLUB

Iron Maiden's original and perhaps their best line-up ever. Taking nothing away from the legendary singer — Bruce Dinkinson, Paul Di'anno's voice (was more punk than Bruce's operatic vocals); which seemingly fits more perfectly w/ their earlier groovish/punk-ish material (before transforming into more of a medieval metal band).

In addition to Di'anno's singing, Clive Burr is probably one of the best drummers of the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal — revolutionizing the music industry w/ his skills behind the drum kits.

[NOTE: The band plays in front of a studio audience, concert was aired on Beat Club in two parts; on two different dates. For some strange reason, they decided to show 'Sanctuary' on both dates.]

1. Prowler
2. Sanctuary
3. Phantom Of The Opera
4. Iron Maiden
5. Wrathchild
6. Innocent Exile
7. Sanctuary
8. Another Life

Paul Di'anno - Chant
Dave Murray - Guitar
