The news is out, but "mum" is still the word. Kim Kardashian recently revealed she is pregnant with boyfriend of eight months Kanye West.
The rapper nonchalantly dropped the bombshell news by asking the audience at his Atlantic City show to show some love to his "baby mama" Sunday night. The simple proclamation threw the Twitterverse in a frenzy and the news was soon confirmed by members of the Kardashian family: "Kimye" is indeed with child.
Beside the initial shock and awe of these two superstars breeding, fans began to wonder how the pregnancy will affect the reality starlet's burgeoning career?
Kim Kardashian burst on to the reality-TV scene in 2007 alongside her family in E!'s "Keeping Up With The Kardashians." The show was an instant hit and made Kim and her hourglass figure an overnight sensation.

So will being pregnant slow Kim Kardashian down? Not one bit.
She will be celebrating 2013 in her favorite hot spot: Las Vegas.
"Keeping Up With The Kardashians" was recently renewed for another three seasons and will now likely feature Kim's pregnancy as a prominent storyline, furthering driving attention to "Yahoo!'s most searched person of 2012.
She will also be seen acting in Tyler Perry's latest feature film, "Temptation" in which the curvy Kardashian will play a marriage counselor.
Her star power is guaranteed to rise, even if she chooses to sit on the sidelines, by mere association, at the least. She is having the baby of one of music's biggest superstars and will join the list of sexy A-list moms, including Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez and Megan Fox, to name a few.
