RANT of the DAY: The Bernard King Travesty

theBERNARD KING TRAVESTY

Travesty: Noun - A false, absurd, or distorted representation of something. (trav·es·ty)

Sadly, it is a sports travesty of thee most befuddling nature New York Knicks Legend: Bernard "Scoring" King has yet to be inducted into the NBA's Hall Of Fame Hall Of Shame.

Bernard "Scoring" King of New York

I swear to the Basketball Gods, if the voting members of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Committee were in my presence, I would most certainly & undoubtedly b*tch-slap the living-sh*t out of each n' every one of those moronic-imbeciles so hard  my handprint will literally be on their faces for several weeks, perhaps even months.

Seriously, if you see a bunch of slack-jawed mo'f'ers in suit n' tie — sportin' a handprint mark on their faces — as they're walking around the Museum in Springfield, Massachusetts, you can bet the house that the screening committees and BHOF Board of Trustees was personally dealt with.

To make matters worse, e
ven Ralph Sampson was recently inducted into the Hall Of Fame in 2012. Talk about pouring salt in the wound — more like squeezing a fistful of lemon as the juice drips into the wound.

All jokes aside, the individuals involved in the voting process should all be hung upside-down by their nut-sacs and forced to smell and then lick "hairy" ape-like scrotums.

Similar to the X-Men's arch-enemy: Juggernaut, King was UN•STOPP•ABLE — a Force of Nature — a One Man Wrecking Ball!

King has previously been nominated an inexplicable total of 5x times — but to no avail. It is a des·pi·ca·ble injustice to One of the Prolific Scorers in NBA History.

Evidently, the Brooklyn-product has been nominated as one of 12 Finalists for the Hall of Fame Class of 2013.

This travesty has not gone unnoticed.

After hearing about his most recent nomination, NBA Legend Dominique Wilkins from the
Atlanta Hawks — a 2006 Hall Of Fame inductee had the following to say in his support:

“Is Bernard King a Hall of Famer? He should be a first ballot Hall of Famer,” Wilkins said. “I never feared anybody whenever I played them. Nobody. He’s the only guy that scared the hell out of me. He’s a machine. Here’s a guy he could put 40 in the book and there’s nothing you can do about it. And he did it consistently. He should have already been a Hall of Famer.”

New York Knicks All-Star Carmelo Anthony had this to say:

“He should have been in a long time ago,” said Anthony, also born in Brooklyn. “He definitely belongs in the Hall of Fame. I became a student of Bernard King, watching his game tapes. I look at his moves in the post and how he valued every dribble. How he didn’t dribble more than once or twice to get to where he wanted to go. People in my family who go back to when he played sit around and still talk about him.”

It's UN•BE•LIEV•ABLE and you can't keep on screwing us! — Kong | Editor-In-Chief theKONGBLOG.com
