Ex-NBA Player: Renaldo Balkman Argues, Pushes & Chokes Teammate

In honor of NBA's "choke-hold" legend Latrell Sprewell, former-NBA player Renaldo Balkman gets into a heated argument w/ an official in the PBA (Phillipines Basketball Association). His anger & frustration continues to escalate as he confronts the other officials w/ 21.6 seconds left in the game — as tension continues to boil-over, Balkman's teammates attempt to restrain him but he eventually loses his temper and before you know it, a demonstration of close hand-to-hand combat skills & techniques were displayed and a choke-hold is applied.

Master of the Choke-hold

"It was in the heat of the moment, I was frustrated, I hate myself for what I did. Everybody sees me as a bad person. But, that’s not me, that’s not me.

I am a professional, I am not supposed to do that. I already apologized to Arwind (Santos), his family and my teammates, including our bosses.

Everybody does something once in a life, they’re not supposed to do. At the time I blanked out and went at it. It’s my first time ever in my entire life to do that." — Renaldo Balkman
