LeBron James: To Dunk or Not to Dunk?

LeBron James: To Dunk or Not to Dunk?

Adding to the most recent nationwide buzz & social media talks about LeBron James participating not participating in the Slam Dunk Contest, LeBron shows-off yet another dunk during pre-game warmups — but this time, James throws an alley-oop to himself, puts the ball between his legs and swoops in for a wind-mill slam ala J.R. Rider.

The death-defying aerial display has made fans even more anxious for him to change his mind about competing in the Slam Dunk Contest. However, LeBron says he is considering putting a stop to it — recently reminded fans that he is never going to participate in the Dunk Contest because he is just too old.

According to ESPN.com, James said, “Maybe I should stop because it’s making a lot of people mad about what I do,” “They’re like, ‘Well, if you can do it in warmups, why don’t you (want to) be in the dunk contest? Stop it.’”

James also added, “But I don’t really watch TV or go on the Internet too much. As a team, it’s kind of our new thing. I’ve had some good ones, but (Chalmers) doing a 360? That’s impressive. We have a little epidemic right now. It’s kind of like the Harlem Shake.”

But many conspiracy theorists believe the videos of him dunking before games are proving to be the contrary. Whether or not LeBron will ever participate in the Dunk Contest remains to be seenbut for all the unwanted talks about him competing is "undoubtedly & unequivocally" his fault. I mean, does he not remember telling the world on national television that he would be putting his name in the 2010 Sprite Slam Dunk Contest in Dallas?

"Hypocrisy," I say.
