Thieves Stole 5.5 tons of Nutella (Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread) in Germany

Nutella

theKONGBLOG™ K.S.I. Team reports another alarming and somewhat disturbing trend — no, it's not Reality TV, no, it's not rockin' your jeans below the waist-line, no it's not the another viral Harlem Shake rendition — it's another Nutella theft.

{Silence}

According to policia, an unforeseen number of culprits stole 5 & 1/2 tons of Nutella "infamous" Italian chocolate-hazelnut spread from a parked trailer in Germany.

The hijack was worth approx. $20,710 USD.

Several weeks ago, a local news report stated that thieves had previously stolen a truckload of Red Bull energy drinks from the same location and also, approx. $40,000 USD worth of coffee was taken in a previous hit.

Talk about armed junk food robbery.

Irony finds its way as this is the second report of a "Nutella" theft...

...last month –as reported by K.S.I.™, students from Columbia University in New York were stealing approx. $5,000-worth of Nutella from the school’s dining halls each week.

Not sure why Nutella is being targeted or is this a coin-ka-dink?

Inquiring minds wanna know.
