DID YOU KNOW? Shaq Scheduled to Meet Biggie on the Night of B.I.G.'s Death

DID YOU KNOW? In 1992, at prime of both their young & up-coming "legendary" careers, Shaquille O’Neal met and became good friends w/ The Notorious B.I.G. a.k.a. Christopher Wallace R.I.P.

“The first time I heard the name Biggie Smalls was she said my name in a rap, he said, ‘I’m slamming brothers like Shaquille, it is real,’” Shaq remembered. “And instantly I became a fan. When I seen him, I saw that he was a big guy, you know it’s an unwritten rule that all big guys stick together.”

“My concept was always like rap with my favorite rappers. So I put out a call and asked if he would do it and he came right back and said yes.”

“It’s the most incredible thing I’ve ever seen in my life,”

Horrifically, what haunts O'Neal regarding his friendship with Wallace was the eerie fact that the two were supposed to meet the night Biggie was murdered — Shaq hauntingly wonders if he were there, would B.I.G. still be alive?

“I think that may have changed things. If Shaq would have said ‘I'm coming with yall” him and Big would have rode together,” Cease says. “I’m sure Shaq would have had security and Big would have brought extra along to make sure Shaq was alright.”

Biggie’s cousin, Lil Cease could be right in his assessment — or perhaps his Hall Of Fame NBA career was saved from peril by what many Hip-Hop/Rap experts and historians consider — Thee Greatest Rapper of All-Time
