Pint Size Little People are Smarter than You

Little people, the proper term and not midget, are statistically smarter as a group.  No body wants to be pint sized unless it’s beer.  If you're a beer carnosaur, would you rather have a standard bottle of beer (12oz) or a pint (16oz)?  The little person would choose the pint.  They are truly smart!

Unfortunately, your local watering hole might be giving you what is called a “cheater pint” and not a true 16 oz glass.  Some pint-style beer glasses with thicker bottoms hold as little as 12 to 14 ounces.  Ok, so what is 2 oz but most likely just one gulp for us?  That’s one extra gulp for a beer lover!

It’s false advertisement to state that you are giving someone a pint and you actually give them 12oz.  It’s like when you were a kid reading the comic books and in the back they had x-ray visions for sale.  They said that those x-ray glasses could make you see through people’s clothes and you though about checking out the girls with it and nothing.

Bar owners might complain that they would have to buy a whole new set of glasses and that would be an extra expense.  Here is a simple answer to that and it won’t cost them a dime.  “Don’t call them pint glasses if they are not 16oz.”
