The Man With The Golden Arm

The Man With The Golden Arm

No, we are not referring to the Frank Sinatra and Kim Novak film an Otto Preminger film!

No, not the classic jump off the couch and start kicking and punching in the air when you were a child watching “The Kid with the Golden Arm,” a Shaw Brothers Film.

Played by legendary kung fu actor Meng Lo (who also played Toad in the movie Five Deadly Venoms)

This article is about a true hero who used his arm, not in combat, but for saving children’s lives through donating his plasma. James Harrison, 78, has been dubbed “The Man with the Golden Arm” and a national hero in Australia for saving 2 million newborns’ lives by donating his plasma-Fox 13/Fox News.

Take the time to watch this video and feel once again that there are people in this world who care about others. So please people, instead of playing the “knock out game” on the street:

Or even the “Punch Out” video game:

Use your arms to save lives and donate blood, platelets, and plasma!

I apologize for sounding as if I’m glorifying myself but I have personally donated over 6 gallons (no, that was not a typo) of the combination of blood, platelets, and plasma. It’s better than making you feel good, it’s saving lives! — AmaSing | Cognitive Drift
